The UK generating bodies, as a result of European Harmonisation, have a Voltage tolerance of 230v +10%/ -6%. This means that the acceptable Voltage range in the UK is between 216v and 253v, although it is more often around the 240-245v range. This is compared to the average European Voltage of 220v.
The OptiVolt 60/100 is a full load 60/100 voltage optimiser’s. With no need for by-pass the units are built to cope with full domestic and small commercial loads. Three tappings allow the installer to select the correct reduction for the incoming supply, maximising savings. PV can be operated through this unit Simple to install and maintain.
Designed to achieve payback in the quickest possible time. This is the basic no frills unit that simply drops the voltage. Tried and tested design that offers a good potential for savings. Most commonly used for domestic supplies and small industrial applications where initial capital outlay is the prime concern.

With the escalating cost of electricity, how would you like to save up to 20% on your electricity bill now and for many years to come.
With OptiVolt voltage optimisation from NuVision Energy, you could be saving money immediately
How does it work?
You may know that most of the electrical equipment in your home or office is designed to run at its most efficient at 220 volts, but did you know that your energy supplier will be providing power to your premises up to and sometimes over 250 volts, (to Comply with European Legislation, electricity can enter a home with a broad band of 216V -253v,) You are paying for this excess voltage - the power company charges based on whatever voltage it delivers, and this is power you do not want. Further this extra voltage puts extra stress on a lot of your electrical equipment causing it to fail sooner.
So how does OptiVolt help? very simply it regulates the voltage supplied to the premises and ensures that a more reasonable voltage is applied at all times, saving energy and your money, it can also prolong the life span of the electrical equipment, as excess energy can cause equipment to overheat
Key Benefits
- Reduces energy consumption by up to 20%
- Reduces your carbon footprint by up to 20%
- Controls the voltage to your home
- Prolongs the life span of your electrical goods
- Protects sensitive electronic devices
- Immediate saving after 30 minute installation

Installation
Installation is simple and should be carried out by a qualified electrician and competent person. Installation should take between 30 minutes - 1 hour and it is installed between the meter and the consumer unit for maximum savings.
How it works
OptiVolt regulates the voltage supplied to the home and ensures a more reasonable voltage is applied at all times which saves energy and prolongs the life span of the electrical equipment.
Safety Features
The OptiVolt incorporates a seamless bypass system to ensure the voltage does not fall below allowable limits. It also incorporates a number of safety systems that protect from overload and over temperature, if in the unlikely event of unforeseen problems, the system simply bypasses automatically to maintain the supply trouble free and awaits the return to save mode.
Savings
Once installed the OptiVolt is optimised and waste electricity is reduced, the average home will save 10- 20% on energy use and electrical appliances will last much longer. Ask your installer to check the incoming voltage to confirm the potential savings
